BILINGUAL THEATRE AT CLARA CAMPOAMOR

Today I want to show you the bilingual play that we could attend here at our school last week. The theatre company Face2Face came to our meeting hall and did a wonderful performance of the play "Shakespeare in Chicago". As the play was mainly a comedy, our students had a great time and they even participated!! The actors selected some students who performed brief but meaningful parts in the play. You can see all the pictures here:

MUSICAL SPRING

Hello everybody!!!
At last we are in spring and at our Clara Campoamor School we celebrated it by decorating the shop window at our hall. Our students from FPB created a really cheerful design combining spring elements with musical instruments that our students from 2nd ESO made (as mockups) for the second term project. No doubt both parts did a wonderful job!!

Welcome Frèdèrique!

Hi again!
Today I want to tell you about the wonderful visit we had two weeks before Easter. One French teacher from REUNION ISLAND (click for information about the island) came to stay with us for two weeks. Her name was Frédérique, she was quite tall and she had blonde hair.
It's amazing how far she came from!! If you look at the map you can see where her island is:

As soon as she arrived, we showed her the whole school, introduced her to all the teachers and then she started to help the French classes and to participate in a lot of activities at our school: excursions, activities for International Women's Day, lectures, meetings...She liked our school very much, especially the people and the organisation of her activities. Here you can see some pictures of her during the classes, in her visit to Cordoba and at the staff room.

She turned out to be a very kind, attentive and hard-working person, she even brought some presents from her country! She brought chocolates, natural vanilla pods and a book with wonderful pictures about landscapes in her island. So, after these wonderful (though short) days, we can only say:
